C Y check and make sure yours has a dipstick for the transmission.
My brother had one that he was told it was sealed and not serviceable.??
On another one a guy was telling me the factory failed to install the dipstick, just left the installation plug in.
Also I think some of them have to be pumped out and refilled thru the cooler line with an attached fitting.

definately has a dip stick, checked the fluid before I bought it. my parents newer explorer is the sealed unit thing. doe s not make much sense to me. I will check on the refilling thing
