trickle down, come on Mac. Tell me please who ever stopped you from making as much as you had the guts, ambition or drive to make in this country?
No one thats who.
Is life under a free Republic perfect of course not.
maybe you feel that Obama should go to the man who owns the company you work for or your neighbor works for and take half his earning for taking the risk and building a buisness and employing people.
While we are at it lets go into your home and remove any of those offensive firearms you have there, you see The People only applies to what the government determines it applies to.
And then we will have the government advise you on what doctor you see, when you will see him and what it thinks the most cost effective treatment you should get.
8 dollar a gallon gas, oh yea that is the governments plan on forcing you to cut back on its use
Obama says he expects that to happen soon, to bring us in line with the other enlightened socialist nations of europe.

Me and Mac may be drinking the Kool-aide...I give you that. But you guys are GUZZLING it. Albeit a different flavour.

That's just wrong. I refuse to let it hurt my feelings, but it does say something about your desperation to make others follow your political beleifs.

P.S. Just look back at all of the negative posts re Obama here in off topic. Did any of those come from the media? You better believe it. Somewhere around 100% of em.

BlueMan, I know both you and Mac are your own men, never any doubt.
if our discussions made you think I thought otherwise I render an absolute apolgy right here and now.
I do not believe in Kool Aid of any flavor, I am very likely to smack the face of whoever may be pouring it, but what I have seen again and again is friends and even family willing and ready to give up the concepts and freedoms that have made America the greatest country on earth.
Why, because they are not happy with Bush, or a media spin on this or that.
The fact of the matter is there is no perfect country but in all of history there has never been one that has come as close as ours and it is improving constantly.
But when you want to put a devout group of socialists in absolute power in this country it scares and disgusts me.
I am passionate about our freedoms as Americans, and I dont want to see the desire to speed improvement in our way of doing things pervert into throwing the baby out with the bath water.
It may be you are right, maybe a socialist type country is what most people want.
