It was nice talking and your V21 looks better in real life then those pics you posted, still can't believe it. Still hoping to get out early enough to snag a couple fish with you tomorrow.

Small world for sure, especially out here on the eastern shore!

We need to hook up soon and get out and do a little striper fishing. We live within 5 min. of each other and have tried but yet to meet. With the 20 month old at home I used the V very little this summer but the wife loves striper and makes me go out and catch a few. We have had some pretty good luck the past couple of years and have limited out and also have come home with some 40" plus in the cooler.

Let me know when ya'll are heading out of Rudee....I'm game. Won't be long. I'll let you know when we get up our trip(s). I won't go back to Hatteras unless I hear of a slaughter of massive proportions. Rudee is just 10 x easier to get out of the inlet even if you do have to ride 20 - 30 miles down the coast to get um. Plus its the same drive (by vehicle) to Rudee for us.

Its still early but when the big strippers move in i'll let you know. I had some great luck last year at night anchord up eeling for big strippers with light tackle. There are plenty of strippers in the bay right now which provide great fun at night anchord up casting bucktails at them. We use very light tackle and when they are running you can catch them on almost every cast ranging from 16" to 24". If we have a mild winter you should be able to catch ocean strippers just out side of Rudee late into Feb but if its cold they move south a little faster.

We have talked about hooking up in Hatteras and last year when you cam down but this time we will make it happen.

You and Still let me know when ya'll go and I'll bring my V and go that same day. I've fished out of Rudee (Owls creek) for the last 2 yrs because it wasn't that good at Oregon Inlet. I'd like to meet you guys.

My wife is from Suffolk so there's a little hometown thing going.
