the guy is selling the boat,trailer,engine all for $300
Boat is 18 or 19" bayliner 1988 and outboard i believe same age, the boat floor is a mess and the boat itself doesnt look too good. The trailer 1 axe garvanized looks so so. The engine runs fine and is missing a broken piece on the lower unit leg, im not sure if jump into this. do you think i can resale it for more?

Trailer will make your money back, be sure to get title and tag reciept.
Go for it and experiance it till you can upgrade. See what I said about derelict Bayliners!!!!

I hope they no charge you to much to get rid of the boat and motor!
See if you can get a tax credit if you sink the boat with the motor for a artificial reef?

 Thats the problem the guy is selling the boat cause he doesnt have a place to put it, and then where can i throw away the hull?

You being in Miami, landfills should be at a premium.
Start looking at thru city and county reclaimation locations. They may require the derelict to be in certain size pieces.

Then count your blessings and keep looking for a DECENT motor for your V.

The FORCE engines are cheap for a reason. They CANNOT withstand many RPM's for ANY length of time, I believe redline on those things is only 5250. The mid size MERCS were actually FORCE engines for quite some time. The late model 90's to 115's had ALOT of issues as these were rebadged FORCE motors. They use a 1 piece block and head with a cooling cover on them. They have ALOT of problems with corrosion around the spark plugs as well. They also use FORCE ONLY tach on most of them that is about twice the money and ONLY works on the FORCE engines. A 125 FORCE would push a V, but I wouldn't expect it to live for very long doing it. MAC ATTACK used to have one on his IIRC, but he upgraded to an ETEC.
