i sanded a little bit on the front, still alot more

Hnnn, I think MJ is right. I now do remember doing alot of painting. : ) on my V hull.
But dont worry, its not hard to do and not that much. Look at my gallery, I think I have a few before and after pics.
As far as all the nicks, dings, and chunks missing out of the bottom, easy fix. Go to West Marine and get some West system, cloth. Sand with 80 grit. Mix the West system, brush some on the hull and also wet the cloth with west system as well and apply. Its easy to use.
Once dry, sand fine. Sand the entire hull down with 80 git. Also use a dewaxer.
Barrier coating is a two part mix. I put four coats on my hull. But two should be fine.
Bottom paint within a day or two. If you dont, you will have to lightly sand thehull again.

West System kit and cloth. 100.00
Barrier coat. 80 bucks a kit.
Bottom paint 150.00
