There appears to be a dearth of fish postings here. I understand when I don't catch anything worth posting (that just how I fish). But I expected to see some good fish coming from our V20 fishin' experts here. With the upcoming weather this weekend (sounds like you southern boys have had it all week) we are looking at maybe another week with no fish posted! That is half of the tournament gone. Maybe I should have kept and posted my 10 ounce sea robin from last weekend.

and when i say 10oz I really mean 8oz, heck I drowned some eels that were bigger than that.

Thanks Guys,
As far as I know, there are only 2 of these hats in existence! If you guys are interested I'll have more done!

Hey Oz, Dads doin' better physically, but all this took a toll on him. It has advanced his alzheimers, he is having a lot of days with his own "private reality"! He is supposed to use a walker and call for assistance getting up, etc. But he is one stubborn ol' cuss and does things his own way. He is not as steady on his feet and falling is a real danger for him. I gotta tell you guys, my wife Mrs. Pubah, stayed in the hospital with my dad for the entire 22 day ordeal! She is one in a billion!! Now that he is home we are having nurses and therapists stopping buy and helping out for a couple of hours a few days a week. We weren't sure he was gonna get to come home. Thought he was gonna end up in a rehab hospital or nursing home. That aint gonna happen till absolutely cannot care for him.

As far as being the Duckman with Aflac, it's been a good month. We are doing the enrollment for the county, a new account for us. put 1000 miles on my truck in the last 2 weeks and never left the county! Plus I put some money in the bank. It has it's ups and downs. I like my boss, being that I'm an independent agent and work for myself! I got the okay from MJ to put a space in the sponsors area. I will work on that soon and hopefully I can assist anyone interested.

I hope to have some more time to visit here more often now that we are getting acclimated to our new routine around here.

Thanks to all

OK, well nothing special but here is my first entry. Bluefish....I only had my 50 lb scale so the weight was not very accurate but you can see in the 2nd pic that the weight is over 6 lbs....round it down to 6 lbs because I can't be more accurate with this scale. state record is 24 lb 13 oz....so 24.2% Not much but better than anything else posted so far, right???

Good going whale. I got a 9 lb 3 oz. flathead on an ultralight yesterday w/ a 1/16 oz jighead and crappie jig. 15 minute fight. Unfortunately the NC state record is 78 lbs so this is only 12-ish percent. Had it been a channel cat I would have had 40 + percent.

I'm still trying though and will post my entry sooner or later.

No sorry, I thought we just needed to weigh them. I had to get my 8 year old to take the picture and then I took the closeup of the scale with my right hand while holding the fish in the left. Also, I was trying not to keep him out to long as it was catch and release. If it helps, I am 5' 10" so you can compare it to the length of my torso. :)

I see this now in the original post:
"To add credence to your fish's weight, include a picture next to a tape measure and specify length (to 1/8th inches rounded up. "

Don't worry, I plan to do better anyway....just figured I'd get things started.
