This is such a common thing now a days! All different makes? Agree start with fuel and work your way around?

What type of yamaha? If the fuel system checks good, and you have an O2 sensor, it may need cleaning.

Thanks for the input. Gotta be honest, I do not know much about outboards, so I do not know what I have for sensors. But I am not afraid to rip into anything either, the problem is usually putting things back together.
![]() Hoping it is just fouled gas then I will go from there. Haven't even gotten a chance to go play with it. Love my kids to death, but they do cut down on boat time. The engine is an '99 200 Yamaha with carbs. |

Check your fuel water seperator first, then drain your carbs float bowls and look for water or sediment. Next pull your plugs and see if they all look the same.
