Been readin' this over...and here comes Oz w/his hand grenade...she 'bout had me...articulate, smart, GOOD lookin'...whadda package...and then I heard this directly from her mouth...
"...our fine young soldiers are being sent to Iraq by our leaders to do God's tasks"... Her own son is about to go to Iraq... Talk about DENIAL...wrong-minded motivation if ever I heard it...we invaded Iraq to do God's work? Do we really want to believe that what is going on in Iraq is somehow attributable to God?...that God started and approved and blesses our participation in what's going on over there?...Iraq is God's task?...I don't have the vocabulary to convey how many ways that is wrong...if that's the God she believes in, I don't want ANYTHING to do w/her or her God...and sure as hell don't want her anywhere near the White House, much less a probably short heartbeat from the presidency... Does God need the oil too?...enough for us to send our children to come home to us in a ZIPPER-BAG?
