How about the two democrats (JFK and LBJ) who had a big part in 53,000 deaths in Viet Nam. I guess I'm bitter, but I lost alot of friends in that war. This guy's manipulating the WORLD petroleum economy for personal gain? I believe there's checks and balances in place for such things like that. It's called conflict of interest. Got nothing to do with oil speculators and the middle east price setting, right? Give me a break. Check it out, he has a higher approval rating than our current democratic congress. If you feel comfortable with a Jr. U.S. senator (hasn't completed his first term yet, with no International political experience) running our country, then he's your guy. We all know the problems we have, but Obama hasn't told us how he's going to fix them. Joe Biden, heck he had problems with plagerizing speaches years ago. Please give me some facts to change my mind. How do you think Obama would handle the Russians when we start installing defensive missles in Poland. Scary, isn't it? Where's Ronald Reagon when you need him?

Have ya noticed the cut-line under the picture of my boat in all my posts...?...I mistrust them ALL...Dems and Reps!!...your point about the Viet Nam war is part and parcel to mine...when are we gonna learn not to follow leaders who trust us into unnecessary wars, KILLING OUR KIDS and spending BILLIONS OF DOLLARS over issues that don't present a nat'l security treat?

There's a big hairy political machine in Washington that's OUT OF CONTROL..the two party system is a smoke screen to keep our eyes on them vs us while both parties have there way w/our lives and our money.

...and as far as checks and balances go, they are mere hurtles to be overcome when you have the resources of the global petroleum consortium and the Commander In Chief of the United States Military perpetuating lies about why we should we should believe them...
