Wellcraft was all over with these boats, some have foam and some of the same year won't have any. same with the caps, some are high some are low, but it was after the 70's when coast gaurd required foam or some type of flotation in all boats, and this is when the decks got raised.
Mine was a 75 before the deck raising, but I know longer have it to measure it?? But I did see another members that lives on the cape and forgot what year it was, but man did he have a ton of room under that deck!!

I was told that 1984 was the best year, the guy who sold me mine told me so.

Did anyone notice that the expensive one has backwards NAV lights...??? Look at that bottom left pic, looks like green on port red on starboard... Most be limited edition.
