treatment went well last night. My wife is there with her now, shes got an appointemnt with a specialist today, then she goes home. If everything goes well this morning, she well be treated outpaitent from here on. We've got some questions about that though, right now, including prehydration, chemo, and posthydration, its taking around 11 hours for her treatment, thay must begoing to change something, just one more of many questions we have for the doctors. 58 treatments to go.

fourth treatment went well, going outpatient now. Magnesium was a little low, all other blood levels were ok. The medicine is starting to affect her walking a little bit, the Doctors told us its expected as the chemicals can affect her nervious system. 56 to go. next week she only get one chemical, should take a whole lot less time.

she's on 10, six week cycles. One treatment per week, 1 chemical the first week, 2 the second thru the 4th, 1 the fifth, then five days of oral medication the sixth while she's reevaluated for the next cycle. Just found out the oral medication for 5 pills is going to run around $1200( I thought the nausa meds were high at $12 per pill). We had to make a special application to medicade to cover what blue cross won't. waiting to hear back from them.
