That clearwater is a sweet looking rig. I love the reference to wheat soda!

LOL, yeah wheat soda....its like having your "wheaties" except not as healthy.


I was a good boy. In bed by 10:30 - 11:00 pm each night. Shoot I forgot to mention that Mrs. Blue ventured out for a 1/2 day sunday trip. We went out to 10 mile reef where a 200' ship was sunk. The spadefish were on top feeding on the jellies. We tried hard but could not connect with em. Another boat out there caught 3.

I stayed at my mom and dad's and the other two stayed at sleeping beauty's house. On Sunday morning I called them at 5 am and they pretty much told me where to go....I'm like get the hell up so we can get on the water!! I'd like to be getting back about the time we have been leaving!!

Wimpy crew!!

when I used to fish offshore, the rule was, at the dock no later than 4am, all your crap stowed by 4:30, boat leaving with or without you at 5 AM. Its a long ride to the Georgetown Hole at 22-24 knts

Yeah, I don't understand how beer drinking and late night bar room loitering can take precendent over fishing. Precedent over work - just maybe - but never over fishing.
