So after a couple of weeks of running and putzing with the new V I decide to launch her today for her inaugural run/sea trial/
So the CEO says , take me fishing!!
So I grabbed my little boat babe and head out for the seatrial and do a little fluking, and mostly cruising, checking electronics etc.
Well gents the rack system is the foshizzle, love it. They take it out when I am done and put it on a work station for me and I flush the engine and wash her down, sweet.
She rode like a champ, went all over the bay with the boat babe, caught a few non keeper fluke but mostly got everything sorted out and tested and she is sweet.

The CEO hard on a fluke

The new Lowrance 7" screen, very cool

Earle Naval Station, don't get beyond the marked bouys or something nasty will come and git ya

Some of the boys out fulking as MJ would say, ran into a nice fellow named Bill in a V20 I/O, he was on the hook, pulled along side to say hey and he told me he was broke down. Offered to tow him in but he wanted to work on it awhile first. Stayed in area and spoke with him on VHF and he got it running so said goodbye and told him about the site.

One very pleased Norton Snagger, put new dual battery system in with Perko dual switch setup, it had single battery before. Put in new bildge pump and sensor and new wiring as original stuff looked 16 years old. New Lowrance 28LCX in. Got new rod holders going in tommorow.

Wednesday is the big fishing launch, my two best friends who have never fished together will be on board for the V20 day of fulking.

Looks like a nice time Willy, glad to see you back in the saddle again.

I kept my GW-25 at a dry stack marina when I had it. Call em up, they would put it in the water, make sure it would start, even gas it up and put ice and bait on it if you wanted (at a price of course)......I loved it. They would flush the motors and hose off the hull when they pulled it.

What if you needed to be in the water at 4 or 6 am? would they put it in the evning before??
I have been trying to think of things to do to save gas and towing has been one of them.

Yep, they would put it in and tie it up, it would be there waitting when you got there.

They had dockage so you could leave it in all week if you wanted, or they would haul it daily if you prefered.

Thanks I am going to have to look into it. That sounds good. Be such a relife not to have to trailer it all the time and just get there and go!
