I had a scum bag kid come in my yard the other day as I was cleaning the boat. He was nice boat!! You fish much?? after some quick coments I said were you live, he said next st over.
He then asked if I minded if he cut thur my yard as my house is a double lot, so he can go from one st to the other in a few seconds.
I siad why don't you use the cut thru 2 doors down, he said the guy blocked with fence, I said how long you live here?? 8 years he says.

I say and you don't know that cut thru?? All the time he was looking at truck yard and boat!! I said go thru to the other st, but never never come thru here again or I will have to let the dog out and shoot!!

I am now collecting stuff to alarm the boat, I am going to put a pole up with a sensor light, aim the sensor hi as the boat, one side there will be a light, the other will be a home alarm horn, when they step up on the trailer to get in boat the sensor will turn the light and sound the horn, they should sh!t there pants fall off the trailer and break a leg (I hope!!)

I know what it feels like Lumber. Sucks big time. It probably won't help, but fill out the report anyways. You never know. Keep an eye on craigslist and local tackle shops. Sometimes the theives will pawn the goods at the tackle shops.

That is what I like about Japan,
I could let my laptop case in a train station and come back about a half hour later
and it would still be in the same spot.
They are taught from young that if it is not yours, don't touch it.

Keep an eye open, don't tell to many people about it and ask around for fishing gear at local marinas, saying you are interested to buy. Chances are the guy doesn't know "you", you were just his unknown victim.

i know how you feel, what scumbag would want to steel somebodys fishing poles, give me a break, if a kid came up to my boay and askme for a pole i would give it to him/her and share my info on fishing with him/her you dont steel somebodys equipment thats low you feel violated hopefully somebody else would catch them cause there gonna do it again what a waiste sorry pal if you where around her,jersey i would give you a couple of poles sorry
