I haven't been able to find anything past 1998 for the year references, at least for those motors.
The best I've found are parts lists and they start with serial numbers 0G and up. 0T and 1B should be a continuing series of the same thing but I have no reference proof. Of course, now that I need it, the online Merc. Parts website I have used to cross referance in the past is down for updates. Does anyone know of a good site that would verify this matter for me? Tsubaki-- you got further than I did and I thank you for your time.

That was stuff I had about a year ago, some of the other sites are now gone.
I couldn't find anything to help your cause and yes the few sites that had Merc stuff were temporarily down.
