guys .. thanks for the replies... cant wait to get out on the water with my 3 daughters (9,7,2) and catch some fish.

chesapeake ... yes it does have 2 storage bins in the transom area with removable wells .. they are small and i am missing one of the wells ..

anyone know where i can find a replacment well?

lumber .. i will definately need some help with the cleaning up aspect of the project.. i see you get some ribbing from time to time about how you keep your boat ... well, i am the exact same way. nothing makes me happier than to have something older that looks brandy new ....!!

one question ... which taco rub rail did you get for your boat and where .. mine is quite beat up and i want to change it out. yours looks great!!

willy .. thanks for the compliment.. i hope it comes out as good as the pics i have in my head.

That is a nice looking boat! As for the storage bins, I think some have found small trashcans at Walmart or the like that fit right in there.

Now, how about some pics of the Camero.

Did they come with 2 bins?, I only have 1 too.
With the one I have I always have to remove it to prime the bulb, and If I move it to the other side I have to take it out to get to the battery switch.
They are great little storage containers.
If you happen to find 1 that fits at walmart or something can you post a link, or pic?.

That is a nice looking boat.

I believe they only came with one insert for the wells... I only have one too... I keep it on the port side so that I can have easy access to the battery switch on the starboard side.

Looks like it doesn't have hydraulic steering; that could be a bonus for you since you might be able to use the existing steering cable and helm. And if you get a Johnson or Evinrude, you might be good to go on the throttle and shifter cables too.
