I don't know how he did it but the previous owner of my V removed the fuzzy liner and somehow got rid of the glue??? Then he awlgripped it with white awlgrip. It turned out great. No more carpet to hold moisture and stink the place up. I might have a pic somewhere...

Does anyone even know whats up under that carpet besides the glue? Is it raw fiberglass? Couldn't you just sand the glue off and awlgrip it? I mean, nothing sounds more fun then laying on my back sanding the ceiling for a couple of hours....but atleast it would look nice when complete.

CSVENSER - Before you do this, make sure it is at least 90 + degrees outside or you won't build up a good sweat like you should.
Really though, it is just glass under there.
