Just looked at the one next door and from what I remember there was a kit to replace the 90 degree fitting, the hose and the pee hole exit.
NOT having a small exit but one the size of the hose. Can't remember if the tstat needed replacing also or if we did that.

I had a pre-86 (1975 w/ 81 powerhead) 70hp 3 cyl evinrude and man that was a great motor! That is the one I sunk then ran for 2 more years before selling it....still running. I hate I got rid of it for $750.
