50 hp merc lacking fuel

I have tried using both of my tanks with new gas oil mix 50:1

Found the problem. Oddly enough if the gaskets inbetween the carbs and the engine block are put in upside down it won't run well. OOPS my fault. There is a small hole in the gasket that needs to be on the bottom to help the fuel flow. Good luck to all and happy boating
