Check your fuel pump. Also I understand there is a passage through one of the carbs that runs the fuel pump, and if you put one of the carb gaskets on wrong the fuel pump won't work.

Could be a restriction in the tank/fuel line as well.....does the bulb get sucked flat?

It's probably one of the things that Ferm said, but I had a fuel problem one time and it was the spring loaded ball bearing type anti siphon valve on the top of the gas tank.

It seems like there have been many reasons for lack of fuel. Another popular problem is the actual lack of fuel. This goes out to everyone. Make sure you put fuel in your gas tank. just sharing. lol
