I agree with others and it sounds like you may have stringer issues. When you decide to take a look you can take the boat apart by removing the inner liner of the boat. This way you can get to all of the stringers without cutting up the boat and also repair the flooring from the under side of the floor without cutting up the top decking. I took mine apart when we replaced the transom and I'd bet if you have stringer and flooring issues you may also have transom issues at some point if not already. It could also be your flooring is flexing due to stringer issuesa and the flooring could be fine.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that you can only get to the stringers by sawing the floor out. The top piece just goes over the gunnwhale and down about 6 inches. The Slash well and the controls are part of it as well.
Is this (small cracks) common on older boats ?, If I fix the floor and stop the flexing, will I be able to fix all the small cracks or will they open back up? Could all the Flexing have caused damage to the laminant under? I know that is alot of questions but any help would be appreciated |
