**Important Clarification**
If you do decide to drill a hole in the thumbnail, please do not use a power drill. Sterilize a needle and SLOWLY work a hole into the center of the nail with it. Actually, you are probably past the point of "pressure pain" but if not I know the hole in the nail works great because I had to do it to mine before
