I want to get rid of the bypass thing earlier in this tread, I cleaned and greased today, and it drips now instead of spraying.
Thanks!!

Are you sure it isn't the hoses leaking? I just went through this with 200 I just got. It looked like the valve dripping, but it was a hose spraying down towards the valve. The valve will run you about $75 for a new one. My 85 had to be replaced due to a leak that wouldn't stop with new seals and greasing. I would keep the valve if it was mine. The other style is for the closed deck blocks(93+) with a different cooling flow pattern and a pressure pop-off valve. If it has made it 22 years, why not just put it back for another 20 years?

Its not a hose, I ck'ed all. I forgot about this leak over the winter, but I started the motor today for the first time, and I saw it again.
I will have to find a good source of parts and get a new one. Thats the bad news, the good news is that I gt the motor started and it started like I have been using it all winter!! I got the GPS working today, Got the Fish Finder all wired up, Trim Tabs working the right way, I wired them last fall backwards so that when I pushed the right the right would move its suppose to be the other way ![]() All and all a good day! Now all I need is the hard top to get delivered to get the rest ready! Thanks Therm, I will try to find the part Monday.
