Never capsized but have had some pretty scary shiite happen. Let's see, took a wave over the bow 3 times now. Once in a following sea. The other 2 were head on in 6' plus steep swells that I had NO business being out in. Shoaled right in the middle of the channel in New River inlet and took a huge sloppy breaker over the stern that left the boat full of water and sand. It also propelled us off the shoal and the boat quickly emptied.
Wow...now I'm having second thoughts about selling her! I've been beam-to drifting for grouper in nasty 3 footers and rocked gunnel to gunnel but never did I feel she was on the verge of flipping over.
