me and a buddy were fishing on the river for large mouth bass one time, we were pitching baits along the edge of an old rice field. My buddy was up front working the trolling motor and I was in the back of the boat fishing from the rear seat(bass boat). He landed a jig right on a gator head, we didn't even see the gator because he was right under the water. When the gator jumped up, i turned around and saw the water splashing and the gator turning around to leave, I got looking for my buddy, he was nowhere to be seen, I thought the gator got him, then I realized he was standing behind me. I never saw him pass by, i never knew he could move that fast
