The "drains" on both sides of the cockpit look like through hulls to me - rather than scuppers - as they each have nipples to attach a hose to behind the bulkhead. So I could attach a hose to both lines and divert the water directly to the bilge. However, I would have to check whether or not that setup would defy gravity and I would want to use a bigger diameter hose to avoid increasing the odds of clogging. I have not noticed any meaningful standing water on either shelf as they both have gaps cut into their edges for water to drain through. It is yet another potential project though!
