You're right Blue, this makes a real tasty meal and great for leftovers, not to mention cheap. The key to it is to do what you did, bake the bird BREAST DOWN. Do the same with turkey. That way, the more fatty leg, thigh etc. meat juices run down over and through the breast and make it nice and moist.

Oh I have Bass....trust me I have.
I left one thing out of my recipe instructions: Be sure to remove the gizzards and liver (innards) and to season the INSIDE of the bird as well. I will update the original post with this info.

I have a similar recipe.
1. Walk in to Walmart. 2. Pick up a rotisserie chicken from the deli 3. Pay the 4 bucks 4. Enjoy Seriously, they have some really good chicken.

True, you could cheap out and go 2nd rate with Wally world chicken...but real men cook their own.
