I bought mine NTB from Ebay about 3 or 4 years ago, I know it was over $100 I am thinking $150 but really can't remember?
But you won't be sorry if you buy one!! I use to sit on the back jigging and watching mine line on the fish finder! Good Luck!

Thanks for all the replies and advice. I have realized it's all about the wattage - ie the x-ducer. I made a bad assumption that the 160c replaced the 160 blue because it has the same designator. The 160c is 150 watts (RMS) and 1200w peak to peak - where as the 160 (blue) is 400w and 3200w peak to peak. The garmin 250 is similar in wattage as the 160 blue -

Just to let you know - I am the proud new owner of a Garmin 160 (blue) fishfinder. I won it on EBAY today it's New In Box for $137.
It's in the mail - I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve. ![]() Thanks for all the help and advice - bring on spring Carl
