I just emailed them to see if they carry the Seaboard Grip X which is non-skid. I'm concerned the regular Seaboard may be too slippery.

I was thinking the same thing with regard to the sand... Is the starboard paintable as is or does it need to be treated/primered to be able to paint?

I was checking the old threads about replacing hatches with starboard and found this. Did you seal those hatches in any way or are they free to open and close?
I 'm gonna replace all my hatches with starboard and was curious should I seal or not.

Those are nice fish boxes, and they are suppose to come off all the time, they have drains in the bottom, no sealing needed! Unless you don't want to use them?? But what a waste that would be! I could hold 200 pounds of fish and not a cooler in site!
Yours are different, My boat is a 1975 and there was no gas tank in the floor, they were on the sides, two 20 gal saddle bags, for a total of 40 gal.
