The major hurdle with the 6.0L in your SUB would be the transmission. The 4L60E isn't redily up to the par of a 6.0 in stock form. The 5.3L has proven very hearty as well though.

I personally really like the 6.0L. I have a friend with an 05 that has close to 175K on the clock with minumum issues. The 6.0 will really scream up high to

. It's a bit different compared to the grunt that the old 350 could produce, but does have some good power. On one of the forums I go to they compared the 6.0 to the old 454, and the only downside to the 6.0 that was talked about was that it was a higher RPM engine. It takes some getting used to for the different RPM range, but it sure is a stout little V8.
