Therm, it is good above and below the waterline but I'm primarily planing to use to fill holes from the cleats and bow rail supports that I have removed instead of mixing Marine Tex.
In my mind if it comes out the tube ready to use, does the same as 5200, is sandable and dries in 24hrs, it should work a lot easier.
