I love my Cuddy. There is room for the kids to nap, room for all the tackleboxes and lunch coolers in the cuddy to keep them out of the way, and plenty of fishing room.
As far as forward fishing room, my favorite place to stand while bottom fishing is up front. Just slide the hatch forward and you can lean up and fish in comfort. Kids napping.  Ronnie demoing "forward fishing".
