Before I used the locker and had a pulpit I used a 5 gal bucket with holes drilled in the bottom ( to let the water out) Worked great!!
I still use the bucket today!! The rope comes in the pipe into the cabin in to the bucket, End of day I just coil nice in the bucket and cover, Next time I am out it pulls right out the bucket nice and easy. No crap and muck from the hole below this way!
