Hi Phester, you're right. My bracket is just under 26" (closer to 25 1/2"). The weight of the engine is definitely comparable to the sea drive, so there will be a difference in the handling, just not sure to what degree. I think it'll be okay. Like I said, we'll see soon enough ;)
