Default Re: Stripers watch out

Didn't get them, Oh I found them by the dozens, dropped eels in front of their noses, put Tsunami's and other plastics right in their laps, used spro jigs of three diffrent sizes and colors and tipped with curly tails and Finn S's. Got up current of them and put out fresh and frozen clam and bunker chunks in a chumpot and broadcasted including some sand balls.
NOT A SINGLE BITE OR HIT. Did lose three eels to Blues while we were drifting. Bit those snakes right in half.
Found fish in all my spots, fished moving water on outgoing and incoming, did not make a difference :-/
My buddy who has been fishing for them a lot longer than I could not figure why, we had the local charter boats out and they seemed like they were following me around. Saw one Blue pulled in all day.
I think I may have a jinx going. Going to find a voodoo doctor and get something concocted for it. For now I will just go and talk to Old Jack about it :'(
