Saturday with my baby.....

My baby girl Lexie (she will start school this year BTW ) has been begging me to take her fishing. I didn’t want to have her out late with this heat so I prepared the night before for an early departure. I also wasn’t sure how she would feel about that because she isn’t a morning person (like her momma) at all. ;D

Well, I went into her room at 4:30am to try and get her up. I shook her and said “baby do you want to go fishing with daddy today?”

What happened next blew me away… :o

She sat STRAIGHT up with eyes like this>>> ;D and said “SURE, we leaving now?? :o


Thas MY girl!!!


We were off….. 8)

We hit one of my first spots and caught her first ever kitty cat. 8)




Not long after that her first Crappie! 8)




We eeked out a few more shorties before she was ready to go home. I didn’t expect it to be a major catchin trip, just wanted her to have a good time. She did! My best trip ever….I cant wait till she is old enough for the salty stuff. 8)
