Default My two gas tanks wont fit!!! Need opinions!!

Well, I havent fooled with the boat in a while because of the storms and work and such. So I finally got out there and got it cleaned up and ready to start work on enclosing the trasom for the bracket. I decided to measure for the tanks...remember I was gonna go with two 45gallons. They wont fit. I have one brand new plastic 45 (given to me) and the original 46 metal. So what yall think I should do? Should I just screw trying to have a pile of fuel and go with the new 45 or try and sell it to buy a 60 or 70? I just cant decide!! I mean if I can get an average of 2.5-3 mpg then Ill have a range of about 100 miles or sowith 45. Yeah thats enough for most trips, but I plan on takin this girl out 40 miles on occasion for Tuna. I dont want to be restricted ya know? I also dont want to cut it close on those few and far between long trips if things get rough. 45 gallons just dont seem like enough for a v20. Should I just save the $$(cause I dont have alot anyways) and put in the 45 plastic and get over it?

HELP!! Im so frustrated!! ::)
