Pipe - I think I know what is might be.
In the directory where your photos are select view, details. Make sure that each picture is under 2mb!! I have a limit set, so that we don't fill up the diskspace for the site too quickly. 2mb is a huge picture. There are lots of image editors that will allow you to resize the pics.
