Yes, sorry. The deck drains connect to the thru hulls that let water on the deck drain overboard. On older models the drains went to the bilge and the water had to be pumped overboard. Like I said not real familiar with lay out of a dually, i m assuming you have scuppers, being a mid 80 s boat
On my cuddy, with a 25 gallon Livewell in the stern, its not uncommon to have a half inch of water around your feet while fishing
