This may sound like a silly question but does anyone know if the cowling gasket is supposed to remain on the top or bottom cowling. And should it be affixed as mine falls off every time I remove the cowling . It always sticks to the top cowling but just before I set it on the deck the gasket falls off, drives me nuts. I'm going to get some kind of automotive weatherstripping epoxy and set it in that I think..
