access hatch question

first of many questions for you longtime v20 guys im sure. Im going to upload some pics of the new hull tomorrow, had a quick question though. my boat has the access hatch for the cuddy in pretty good shape. The wood runners that are normally on the topside are long gone though, can see the screw holes where they once were but nothing left. Does anyone know if 1.) these an be bought if their custom sized? or 2.) what dimension wood they've used so i can fabricate some of my own? going to start pulling teak off next week to clean it up, figured id do them all at once if i have to. Also is there some special way to fasten the runners down? seems like if it was screwed in tight it wouldn't allow the hatch to slide forward, maybe im over thinking it..
