Phat, with a round trip to NJ and back to SC ahead of me and knowing my old bias ply tires were cracking between the threads, I bit the bullet and got Carlisle Radials and new Timken bearings on all 4. Could not be happier with result and highly recommend going radial over bias ply. After doing so with my old trailer and now with the one I presently use, there is a noticeable improvement in how well they roll down the road with radials vs bias plys. It's almost like your rig lost weight because they roll easier. Since I got home, I've towed her to Hartwell and back about 5 times (1.5 hrs on interstate each way) and it continues to impress...radials and American made bearings...DO IT. Maxxis also makes a good trailer tire
