I found my 100qt Igloo Marine cooler on the side of the road. I went to work and seen it and thought, dang that sucks for somebody. Then 8 hours later on my way home it was still there so I thought what the heck, let me see how bad it's messed up. Only thing wrong were the hinges were broke. Top was still tethered on with the strap that keeps it from opening too far. Actually bought a set of improved hinges for $5. That was 7-8 years ago and we still use it regularly.

Used to do that, now I just cut a 3 inch piece off an old leather belt and run the old stainless screws from the hinge through it. Never had to replace one ever again.
