cuddy rod rack & trailer light bar

devised a plan and executed a rod rack in the cuddy.

I used 2x4 vinyl fencing to support a rack I bought at West Marine.
Secured with stainless sheet metal screws and Loctite tub-surround glue.
need the glue because at far ends you can't get a screw gun in there.

Spent considerable time planning out and testing locations and angles with rods in place to get it just right.
Notice the hoop end the 2x4 is mounted by 2" side and the J end the 2x4 is mounted on the 4" side.
Long rods (7 footers) in back need longer space between the hoop and the J so rod is thin enough at the J. So I angled the J end.
You have to be sure the rod will not slide forward and fall out of hoop.
As a bonus, the boat hook fits perfect!

My blood pressure is much better without trailer light hassles...
