All the Golden Isles Outdoors crew geared up and headed out on a Cobia Quest last week and we were far from disapointed.....
Cobia were thick, we probably saw 30. We caught 3 and speared 5 but only got three back to the boat. Also ran into piles of big Snapper. We were releasing those when some were still comin over the sides. Lots of doubles and triple hook-ups. Beautiful day that gave us perfect conditions for filming the next segment of Golden Isles Outdoors which runs on a loop on Public Access for ch.99(check to see if you have it). We got plenty of nice shots and slack winds made for perfect conditions for flying the Drone and pickin up some sweet aerial footage. Some pics below and a short 3min video with some really incredible shots. Enjoy.....and yes, several of these Cobia kicked my a$$ as you will see Full Video: http://youtu.be/yH6zxJalHgY
