This hugely popular boat was one of the best-selling designs ever for Wellcraft. It’s important to remember that Wellcraft was a huge player in the fishing-boat business in the 1970s, due in large part to boats like the V20. It came in many different forms, but all of them were capable, utilitarian boats that rode well and carried a relatively wide beam, providing excellent stability. It remained a solid performer until Wellcraft shifted its corporate focus to its racing platforms, deemphasizing the fishing side.
