UPDATE!!!!!
The wormies have been soaking for over a month now and I just got brave and tried em again.... SURPRISE!!!! they are GOOOOD now.... I guess the key is letting them soak thoroughly and get the vodka all through em instead of just on the surface.... at the same time the candy softens the vodka too.... I NOW say definitely give it a go but let em soak a couple weeks or more.
