Default Fished the north jersey ocean today, Sunday, 9/8

Fluke first............ boom, first fish about 5 lbs., then two more smaller keepers around the Shrewsbury Rocks.

Then seemed to die off, and since it lay down a bit, ran NE to see how the blue fish boats were doing.

Some action apparently on jigs and bait, but with a tip from other fisherman on the VHF, decided to troll plugs.

That was the ticket for huge blues, averaging 12-15lbs with bigger mixed in.

Nice ocean with the West wind matched up with the outgoing.

...........and, who says Jersey people are rude ?

Aint so.......... had party boats and private boats achored, drifting, and trolling the same area.
All good with suggestions going out on the VHF on how to hook up on the gators.

Ran back to fillet the blues for neighbors, feeding the dark meat sections to the sea gulls.

Great day.
