How long does the effects of a cortisone shot last?

Ok not sure what one he gave me but feeling alot more flexible today---with the pain meds im taking 3 x panidine forte ans 1 20mg oxycontin been on panadine forte for 20 years i get 120 pills with 3 repeats i really want to break away from the pills---As for my stomach anti flams use to give me bad heart burn and alot of foods as well--it ended up being a infection in my stomach that only can be checked by a camera down your throat or a breath test ending up having 3 types of anti biotics for 3 weeks now i can eat any thing again---with the steroids i had too much in my body when i was 30 that why i have so many health issues now
