I just got back from taking a look at the boat alot closer but with all the rain we had I wasnt able to get any good pics. I did notice that now the steering is locked up also so I just might part it out. Hmmm twin V4s on the 78??? Thats something I just might actually be able to afford since I already got one but will it acually work?
 | If you're really looking at putting twins on the back of her I'd look carefully at the old(er) Merc "tower of power" engines. (Inline 6 cylinder engines with a ton of torque). The thing that makes them really nice is they are skinny and tall and light. Twin 115's would make that boat fly and would be easy on your pocketbook. If it were my boat and I was going to go twins that's the way I'd go. Just a thought.
